= eighth (8th), octave device, octavo, octave.
Nota: En clasificación, sistema de combinación de números y letras usado por Ranganathan para mejorar la flexibilidad del sistema de notación.
Ex. The list of subject headings, now known as the eighth edition and soon to be the ninth edition, theoretically takes care of that problem.
Ex. An octave device is a method for extending a decimal notation by using the digit 9 as an extension symbol, in order to allow an unlimited number of classes within an array.
